The Devil's Arithmetic, by Jane Yolen, is a 164 page book. It is about a girl time traveling back to the Holocaust time. She figures out the Holocaust is a lot more serious than she thought. Everyone really needs to read this book.

Hannah has changed a lot over time. Like before, she cared more about what she did not have. After the Holocaust she cares about what she has. Not having enough food, water, and anything valuable, made her change. Also, in the beginning of the film, she was moody. Now though, when she got back, she was more kind and actually liked doing family traditions. Those are some things and reasons on how Hannah has changed.

I read the two in one, Rotten Romans and Groovy Greeks by Terry Deary. The 270 page book is really funny and gives you a lot of interesting facts. If you want to know why naked girls ran around pretending to be bears or what Roman soldiers wore under their kilts, read this book.
